One of the most defining moments in my life and career is the opportunity I had to fight alongside my friend Sarah Hoffman for the rights of students with disabilities in Caddo Parish. Sarah and I petitioned Caddo Parish Public Schools, asking them to make structural changes that would allow students in wheelchairs to attend public school alongside their peers.
Together, Sarah and I won that fight. I know that Sarah‘s story will touch your heart as it has mine.
